About Brandon
Brandon began training Brazilian jiu-jitsu in September 2016, after moving from Alabama to Connecticut for graduate school. In the summer of 2019 he spent an internship in Ohio, met Jim Krebs on the mats, and the two became fast friends and training partners.
Back at school, Brandon got two calls at nearly the same time: a job offer that would bring him back to Ohio, and a call from Jim about a new academy called Delta. He moved during the pandemic and went straight to the people he already knew and trusted.
His coaching started at blue belt, assisting the kids class and covering the occasional fundamentals session. When Delta began planning a dedicated kids program, Brandon was all in. Today he's a brown belt and one of the academy's owners, and he coaches both the adult and kids jiu-jitsu classes.
