“It's literally the best gym EVER. Such an amazing group of people who just want to help each other build and grow as you continue through your journey. A very down to Earth community, one that you want to be a part of.”

Without a gi to grab, no-gi is about controlling the body: wrists, head position, underhooks and the space between you and your partner. Positions change faster, sweat makes everything slippery, and timing and posture start to matter more than grips.
It's the same jiu-jitsu you learn in the gi, trained a different way, and it carries straight over to wrestling, MMA and self-defense in everyday clothes. Plenty of students train both, and your free week lets you try each before you decide.
Thursday is also Delta's Legion Project class. Veterans, active-duty military, police, fire, EMS and other first responders, including park and resource officers, train free whether or not they're members.
Movement and wrestling-style drills to get your hips and hands ready.
One no-gi position or sequence taught in detail.
Partner reps, building from cooperative to light resistance.
Rolling at a pace that matches your partner and your experience.
Veterans, active-duty, Guard and Reserve military, police, firefighters, EMS and other first responders, including park rangers and school resource officers. You don't need to be a Delta member; just bring proof of service, like a military, veteran or department ID.
No. No-gi is a fine place to start, and the fundamentals are the same.
You can't grip clothing, so you control arms, head and body instead. It's faster and a little more athletic; the gi rewards patience and grip strategy.
Yes. Most of the week is gi, and Thursday is no-gi. Training both makes you better at each.
Your first week is free and unlimited. Book this class, or text a coach with any questions first.
