Pataskala sits between Columbus and Newark, and Delta is about 25 minutes east on Route 16. Gi, no-gi and striking under one roof, with a black belt in the Relson Gracie lineage.
Western Licking County has gyms in both directions. Members who drive east from Pataskala tell us it comes down to three things: a black belt head instructor with a traceable lineage, gi and no-gi plus kickboxing in one membership, and a room that's welcoming to people of every age.
A seven-day free trial helps too. Instead of one sample class, you can take a full week of everything and decide with real information.
If you commute toward Columbus, Wednesday's 6:30 AM Muay Thai and the Saturday morning block are the easiest to fit around work.
