How Delta Grappling Academy collects, uses and protects the information you share through our website, forms, chat, booking calendars and text messages.

1 Who we are
Delta Grappling Academy ("Delta," "we," "us" or "our") is a martial arts academy located at 381 S 30th St, Unit I, Heath, OH 43056. We teach Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kids classes, kickboxing, boxing, Muay Thai, private lessons and group self-defense workshops.
This Privacy Policy applies to deltagrapplingacademy.com and to the forms, chat widget, booking calendars and text messages connected to it. Paper or in-person documents you sign at the gym, such as a liability waiver or membership agreement, are governed by those documents.
By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2 Information we collect
Information you give us
Contact details, such as your name, phone number and email address.
Details about who is training, such as the names and ages of family members or children you are signing up.
Your interests and questions, such as the programs you want to try, your experience level and anything you write in a message.
Booking details, such as the class, date and time you reserve.
Workshop details, such as your organization's name, group size and preferred dates.
Your text message choices, including which consent boxes you checked, when, and on which page.
Where we collect it
The chat widget in the bottom right corner of every page.
Our booking calendars, reached from "Book now" on /programs or "Book your first class" on any program page.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described in section 6.
This website does not ask for payment card information.
3 How we use your information
To answer questions you send through the chat widget or contact form.
To set up your free trial week and schedule your first class.
To confirm bookings and send class reminders and schedule changes.
To share class information, enrollment details and scheduling updates.
To plan and coordinate self-defense workshops for groups and organizations.
To send special offers, discounts and program announcements, but only if you separately opted in to marketing messages.
To keep records of your consent and opt-out requests.
To understand how our website is used and improve it.
To protect our website and comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information.
4 Text messages (SMS)
We only send text messages to people who opt in through one of the forms listed in section 2. The forms offer two kinds of messages:
Non-marketing messages about your inquiry, class information, scheduling, enrollment, bookings, confirmations, reminders and schedule changes.
Marketing messages with special offers, discounts and program announcements. These are sent only if you check the separate marketing consent box.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any membership, class or service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5 How we share information
We share personal information only in the limited ways below. All of them exclude text messaging opt-in data and consent, which is handled as described in section 4.
Service providers. Companies that run our website, forms, chat, booking calendars, email and text messaging for us. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our members, staff, the public or Delta.
With your permission. When you ask us to or agree to it.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
6 Cookies and third-party tools
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep forms, chat and booking calendars working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.
Some pages include tools from other companies, such as an embedded Google Map and our embedded forms and calendars, and we link to our Facebook and Instagram pages. Those companies may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
7 Children's information
We teach kids classes for ages 5 to 13, but our website is meant for parents, guardians and adults. Information about a child should be submitted by a parent or guardian, and we send messages about a child's training to the parent or guardian, not the child.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8 How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to answer your questions, schedule classes, serve you as a member, and meet legal and record-keeping obligations. We keep records of text message consent and opt-out requests as long as needed to show we honored them. If you opt out, we keep your number on a do-not-text list so you are not messaged again.
9 How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to people who need it to do their jobs. No website, app or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 Your choices and rights
Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help. To stop marketing messages but keep booking reminders, call or text us.
Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or ask us to remove you.
Access, correction and deletion. You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep.

11 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make a significant change to how we use text messaging data, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
